Common tasks

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your account and its content from inside the iOS app:

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm when the app asks.

This permanently removes your account, photos, comments and saved places, and it cannot be undone. If you can no longer sign in, email support@getamtly.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

Report content or a review

Amtly has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Reporting works on the website and in the iOS app:

  1. Open the restaurant listing, review, post or comment you want to report.
  2. Choose Report — the red flag on the restaurant photo or the flag beside a review on the website, the “…” menu in the app — then pick a reason.
  3. To stop seeing someone entirely, use Block in the iOS app as well.

You need to be signed in so we can follow up on your report. We review every report and act within 24 hours. You can also email support@getamtly.com with a link or a description of what you saw.

Claim or register a restaurant

Restaurant owners can claim an existing listing or add a new one through the partner portal. We check every application before approving it, and an approved owner can manage the listing and read the private notes diners leave for them.

Fix wrong restaurant information

Hours, menus or an address can be out of date — some listings are imported from public sources. Report the listing from its page on the website or in the iOS app, or email support@getamtly.com with the restaurant name and what is wrong. Owners should use the partner portal so they can keep the listing updated themselves.

How our data sources work

Report a bug

Email support@getamtly.com with a short description of what happened, what you expected, your device model and iOS or browser version, and a screenshot if you have one. That is usually enough for us to reproduce it.

Privacy and data requests

To access, correct or export your personal data, or to ask a question about how we handle it, email support@getamtly.com. Your rights and how we use data are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Trouble signing in

You can sign in with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple. Use the same method you signed up with — signing in with Google will not find an account created with a password. If you are still stuck, email support@getamtly.com with the address on your account. Never send us your password.

Removal requests

If you run a restaurant and would rather not be on Amtly, write to us and say so. You do not need an account and there is no form to fill in. Here is exactly what happens.

  1. Email support@getamtly.com and tell us which listing you mean and what you want removed — the menu, the photos, or the whole listing.
  2. We check that the request really comes from the restaurant: a message from the restaurant's own phone number or business email address, or a claim on the listing through the partner portal. We ask because otherwise anyone could take down a business that is not theirs.
  3. If you would rather correct the listing than lose it, claiming it is free. An approved owner can edit the details, remove photos they do not want shown, and keep the page right themselves.
  4. Once we have verified the request, we act on it within 7 days and write back to confirm.
  5. Basic directory facts — the name, the address and the kind of place it is — may stay listed the way map services list businesses. Tell us you want the listing removed entirely and the page goes: it stops appearing in search, on the map and in Amtly's listings.
